THE GREAT BIG GREEN WEEK IS THE UK’S BIGGEST EVER CELEBRATION OF COMMUNITY ACTION TO TACKLE CLIMATE CHANGE AND PROTECT NATURE.

 

This website is here to help you find events and activities happening around Oxfordshire. There are over 60 local Great Big Green Week events taking place all over the county betweem Friday 9th and Sunday 18th June with somthing for everyone. From art, theatre and film screenings, to guided walks, gardening and community growing events, to street fairs. There’s workshops, kids activities, talks and demonstrations. GREAT BIG GREEN WEEK 2022

Over 100 events happened in every corner of Oxfordshire during GBGW 2022. From fairs and markets, to guided walks, repair cafe’s, tours, arts workshops. Local businesses got involved and created bespoke green week menus, universities, colleges and school put on events and there was even a film festival. Great Big Green Week is co-ordinated in Oxfordshire by many partners including CAG Oxfordshire, Oxford Friends of the Earth, Green Arts Oxfordshire Network, The Low Carbon Hub and Oxfordshire County Council.
